Kaveri was born in Kolkata, India. She is the mother to 5 children and has 4 grandchildren. She has travelled widely and has lived in Indonesia and the Middle East. She has worked in Advertising, Banking and has taught English in Japanese International Schools. Kaveri enjoys travelling, nature, walks, gardening, music, painting, drawing, dancing, family and friends. Her poetry covers her thoughts on her travels around the world, nature, life, culture, emotions and everyday occurrences.
