My Kind Of Russian Roulette

The Wind

We built mountains that crumbled down,
And I drowned in my ocean of tears.
Love letters and old photographs,
I’ve burnt them all ever since.

I built a fortress for my heart
You left, leaving burnt scars
And now all that’s around is the wind.

I hate the wind,
I wanna destroy the wind
Cause it has a certain smell
As if you left a piece of you
Floating,

Everything reminds me of everything we’ve been
I just can’t get rid of your wind.

It’s been days I haven’t seen the sun,
This bedroom used to be so fun.
I’d jump on the bed and you’d just shake your head
But that innocence has left ever since you left,
Saying bygones are bygones
And all I smelt was your perfume in the wind.

I hate the wind,
I wanna destroy the wind
Cause it has a certain smell
As if you left a piece of you
Floating,

Everything reminds me of everything we’ve been
I just can’t get rid of your wind.

My fort protects my heart
Scars make me look like a warrior.
Well, I was a warrior in love,
Until you left me broken in the wake of your wind.

I used to love the wind
Now it just reminds of everything.
